BREAKFAST IDEAS: CHIA PUDDING

Maybe you have heard about *superfood such as chia seeds. It contains a lot of vitamins and minerals, a good source of omega-3 fatty acids, in addition, 17 g of protein in 100 g. I like to eat it in form of pudding for breakfast or as a snack. This pudding is fresh and pretty sweet (sugar-free). So it is excellent for a sweet tooth. This dish is mood-boosting food.

Nutrition value (per 2 portions):

  • Energy – 165 kcal per one portion;
  • Proteins: Fats: Carbohydrates – 5.6: 7.3: 19.2 g per one portion.

Ingredients:

Chia seeds 30 g (2 tbsp.)
Water 200 ml
Yogurt 2.5% (homemade, without sugar) 100 ml
Cherries 100 g
Apricot 100 g
Peanut 10 g

Preparation

  1. Take chia seeds in a bowl and then add water. Put in the fridge for the night.
  2. Take fresh cherries and apricots. Blend it to a cream, separately.
  3. Mix chia seeds with yogurt.
  4. Divide chia seeds into three portions. Yellow and red mash add to two portions. Leave one portion as it is.
  5. Take glasses. Place the colored layers. Decorate with nuts, cherries, apricots and mint. Put in the fridge or eat it immediately.

Enjoy it!
